I am delighted to announce the appointment of Alison Walmsley as the Unit Leader for the West Lancashire Scouts’ Jamboree Unit to the 26th World Scout Jamboree, which will be held in Poland in 2027. Alison brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role, having been an Assistant Leader to the 24th World Jamboree in USA, and a member of the International Service Team at the most recent Jamboree in Korea in 2023. I have no doubt that she will lead our unit with great success and ensure that our young people have an unforgettable experience in Poland.
