Major milestone reached as £1m donation unlocks transformation of Waddecar Scout Activity Centre.
West Lancashire Scouts has reached a major milestone in the transformation of Waddecar Scout Activity Centre, as work begins on a brand-new accommodation building made possible through an extraordinary £1 million donation from The Bill Ainscough Foundation. The once-in-a-generation investment will help thousands more young people access adventure, outdoor learning, and skills for life, while supporting West Lancashire Scouts’ ambition to deliver over 1 million nights away for future generations.
