As you will be aware, Andrew Lewis has taken the decision to stand down as District Commissioner at the District AGM in September. Andrew has done a outstanding job as District Commissioner, through the pandemic and I am sure you will join me in thanking him for his dedicated service.
It is now time to look to the future, to identify a new leader for Chorley District, who will build on the District’s many strengths and continue the excellent work already ongoing, including leading the District through an exciting period of transformation. To that end, I have asked Steve Morton to chair a small search group to advise me on my appointment.
