Minibus & Trailer
Need transport for your next Scouting adventure? West Lancashire Scouts offers a 17-seater minibus (with wheelchair access option) and an Ifor Williams box trailer, available for hire by members, staff, and local non-profit groups. Safe, reliable, and affordable, they’re the perfect way to get your people and equipment where they need to be.
17-Seater Minibus (or 14 seats + wheelchair)
Members of WLS, WLS employees and non-profit making organisations, carriage of non fare paying passengers are able to borrow midweek in the evening, at weekends and during school holidays.
Driver requirements:
- Aged 21–69
- Minimum of 2 years on a full Category B licence or Category D1
- No more than two SP30 convictions or two accidents in the last 5 years

Ifor Williams Box Trailer
The Trailer must only be towed by a person competent to do so. Both legally (DVLA Website) and that the individual is confident and experienced to do so. The towing vehicle must be suitable for the trailer being towed in terms of permitted weights and suitable tow hitch and wiring.
Towing requirements:
- Unladen Weight – 750kg
- Gross Weight (Trailer + Load) – 2700kg
- 13 pin electrics (The county bus has 13 pin and you may need an adapter for older vehicles)
Usage fees:
- £40 per week
