Learning
At West Lancs Scouts, we believe in supporting every volunteer’s personal development journey, from the moment you join us and throughout your time with the Scouts. Whether you’re new to Scouting or have been with us for years, there are a range of learning opportunities available to help you grow in your role, deepen your knowledge, and gain valuable accreditations.
By completing your learning, you’ll be equipped with the skills and confidence to make a real difference in your community while continuing to develop yourself as a leader, volunteer, or mentor. The learning pathway is designed to support your role within Scouting and includes everything from core training to optional modules, plus a range of rewarding certificates and badges.
Explore The Scouts Learning Pathway
We want all our volunteers to have the skills and knowledge they need to feel confident to keep young people safe and help them gain skills for life. This is why all volunteers need to complete some learning, and why we encourage them to continue learning throughout their volunteer journey.
