In 2023, we are looking to take a group of Scouts from West Lancashire on a trip of a lifetime! We would like the Scouts to have an international adventure to introduce them to the world of international scouting. We are also looking to recruit 4 Explorer Scout Young Leaders to support the leadership team on the trip
Where is this trip going to?
The trip will enable our young people to travel and experience the culture, sights and Scouting of Budapest. The exact activities and itinerary will be decided by the leadership team and the young people as part of our trip preparation.
When will the trip be taking place?
The trip will be in the October half term of 2023.
Who is eligible to apply for this trip?
Any Scouts from West Lancs are eligible to apply, as long as they’ll be a Scout by the time of the trip in October 2023.
Young Leaders can also apply as long as they are 14 years old by 1st January 2023. This will allow essential training to take place prior to the trip.
